For a brief tour of our facility, checkout this short video.
At Lakeside we invite you to come as you are, with your challenges and your victories, your questions and your wonders; and enjoy being a part of a community that seeks to discover who each of us really are, and are meant to be through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Come and visit us! You will be glad you did!.
Please take a moment to look around, check us out and ask any questions you might have.
The History of Lakeside Church

Q. What are the normal dress expectations - jeans, suit, etc?
A. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable whether it is in a pair of jeans or business casual or a dress or a shirt and tie. We want you to feel that you can “come as you are” and not have to conform to some kind of “dress code.” We are more interested in meeting your real life needs than we are with what you wear.
Q. What are the services like?
A. When you arrive on our campus you will be greeted by parking attendants who will guide you where to park you car. Upon entering our facility you will be greeted by some very friendly people who will answer any immediate questions you might have and will point you in the direction of where you will be going for the service. We have a “multi-venue” approach to services with a variety of music styles designed to best fit who you are. One of the greeters would be glad to explain the different venues options that are available.
No matter what venue you choose, our services are both innovative and creative. We want to use all the tools available to us today including music, media, personal stories, creative illustrations and message enhancing props to make the 2,000 year old life changing message of Jesus relevant to the lives of people today. Our messages apply the life changing truths of the Bible to the things that we all face on a daily basis. Our messages are practical and user friendly and will provide guidance through this maze called life.
Q. Do I need to bring a donation/offering?
A. If you are a first time guest at Lakeside we have no expectation that you will participate in the offering that is taken up during the service. You can participate if you would like but we don’t want you to feel any obligation to do so. The service is our gift to you and we want you to simply enjoy it with no strings attached. The ministry of Lakeside is funded through the generous donations of our regular attendees and even then there is no pressure or feelings of guilt to give. It is a personal decision that each person makes.
Q. When should I arrive for a service?
A. It is best that you arrive 10 or 15 minutes prior to the service start time. This will allow you to get used to our facility, to ask any questions you have and to check with our greeters about the options available and where the services take place. If you have children up to Grade 5 we also have an excellent children’s ministry called Lakeside Kids that runs concurrently with our adult service and it will take you a few minutes to check your kids in and to get them settled in the age appropriate room. We always start on time and there are key parts of our service happening right in the beginning.
Q. How can I find out more about Lakeside?
A.You can continue to check out our website, you can call the church office and one of our staff would be glad to answer your questions or you can stop by the “Connections” table during your first visit.
