"...For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope..." Jeremiah 29:11

If you walk into my office this is the scripture you will see, beautifully framed, hanging on my wall. I brought this 'picture' with me from my work at Jewels for Jesus Adoption Agency where I worked as Program Coordinator for 20 years. This verse has been my anchor, my calling and my passion, not only to know it intimately myself, but to share the amazing good news that God can make a difference, no matter what the circumstances. I call it "big-H" Hope.

My family and I started attending Lakeside in 1992. Over the course of that time I have served primarily on the Worship Team as keyboard player, vocalist, and worship leader. In 2007 Lakeside became a multi-venue church and at that time I began my ministry as the Praise Venue Leader. It was a privilege to oversee this Venue from its inception to the place where it is a viable and healthy part of our Lakeside Sunday's.

My background as a psychotherapist and private adoption practitioner has led me to my current adventure at Lakeside - the development of a Grief Care Ministry called Griefwalk. This program is the basis for our bereavement care. Our desire, as a community is to care well for the broken-hearted.
It is humbling to see the plans of God unfold in my life, using my experiences, education, passions and losses in a way that will bring Hope and healing to others.

I have been blessed with a wonderfully supportive husband, Phil, and two great young adult children, Ainsley and Michael.
