In 1989, my family was a part of the small congregation that became Lakeside Church. Ever since I was a little girl I remember attending Sunday school or the services, running through the halls, and seeing many familiar faces. Lakeside wasn't just a church for me, it was my community, my family in Christ.

As I grew up, I participated in many serving opportunities at Lakeside through the Sunday school, Youth Group, and later College and Careers. God definitely used the many opportunities and relationships I developed here for my own personal spiritual growth. A VERY significant relationship developed through our college and careers group when I met my husband, Matt, who I married in October 2009.

My own personal verse is Jeremiah 29:11-14 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you...”

As I strive to seek Jesus above all other things, he surprised me with his plan for me to enter ministry in the church I loved so dearly! Currently, I am now doing organizing, planning and support for the student and young adults ministry at Lakeside. These groups of people are very close to my heart and I am so excited to see how God works in and through them.

When I'm not at church, you can find me doing the other things I love: spending time with family and friends (especially Matt), going on outdoor adventures, reading, drinking good coffee, and eating good food. I live to love, and love to live!
