Connected: Developing Healthy Behaviours for Lasting Relationships
We are all part of many kinds of relationships: family, friends, romantic partners, colleagues, and more. These connections can help us thrive, but they can also bring deep pain. While it’s easy to notice how others’ actions affect us, this talk invites us to look inward and reflect on how we show up in the relationships we care about. Together, we’ll explore the roots of the behaviours that shape our patterns of connection, along with practical tools for strengthening the relationships that matter most, the ones we find meaningful and choose to nurture.
Join us on Monday, Dec. 15 for a special evening at Celebrate Recovery featuring guest speaker Kayla Burghgraef, RSW/RP.
This event is open to all adults - you don't need to be part of the Celebrate Recovery community to attend - but if you're curious about CR, we invite you to stick around after the talk for Newcomer 101, an introductory group that runs every week.
Prior to the talk, we'll be having our annual CR Christmas Dinner for our CR community. It begins at 6pm (with a suggested donation of $12).
Hope to see you there.
A freewill offering will be taken at the event.
