Lakeside Youth Fall Kick-Off
Lakeside Youth is kicking off another year together, and we’re looking forward to reconnecting, hearing about everyone’s summer, welcoming new friends, and sharing some of what’s ahead for the 2026/2027 year.
What will we be doing??
While youth (Grades 6-12) spend time meeting and connecting with each other and our volunteer team, parents will have an opportunity to meet with our Family Ministries Pastor. So, parents — we’d love for you to join us for our first night back!
We’ll share a little of the vision for Lakeside Youth this year and where we’re headed as we create opportunities for youth to:
- build meaningful relationships with God, their leaders and one another
- serve together in our church and local community
- explore both local and global mission opportunities
- connect and collaborate with other youth groups
- invite friends and create a community where new youth feel welcome
- participate in special events, service projects and, yes… another All-Nighter!
PARENTS, during our kick-off, we’ll talk about the year ahead, upcoming events and opportunities, communication, volunteering, and ways parents can partner with us.
We’ll also be updating our Planning Center information, so this will be a great opportunity to make sure contact information, household details, permissions and other important information are current for the new ministry year.
Youth ministry works best when youth, families and leaders are connected, and we’re looking forward to starting this year together.
