On Wednesday, March 25, Lakeside will be providing dinner for approximately 40 students involved in the Ecumenical Campus Ministry at the University of Guelph. This will be their final gathering before exam season begins, and we have a wonderful opportunity to encourage them with a warm meal and friendly support.
We’re looking for volunteers to prepare:
- Five large crockpot main dishes such as soup, chili, pasta, casseroles, or other creative options (we need at least one gluten-free and vegan option)
- Desserts for approximately 40 students (including gluten-free and vegan options)
Meals can be dropped off in a crockpot at Lakeside throughout the day on March 25. We'll make sure your crockpot is plugged in and kept warm/cooking until it's ready to be delivered. (Crockpots will be washed and available for pick-up the following day or on Sunday morning).
This is a simple but meaningful way to show hospitality and support to students as they prepare for final exams.
